The Orange Lilies

This is a mostly harmonious color picture. It goes from green to orange with a hint of the gray sidewalk in the background. I used Photo shop to up the vibrance, I used rubber stamp to stamp out a handle, and I used a watercolor filter to give it a different look. I think lilies are really pretty and I like the look of this picture. I was walking around my town when I took this picture.

The Yellow Gaillardias

This is a picture of harmonious color with hints of complementary color. I used Photo shop to up the vibrancy of the flowers, erase some distracting needless background and a watercolor filter to make it interesting. I was just walking around town when I took this picture. I took many pictures in that manner.

Sassy Angel Kitty

This is a picture using direct lighting. I used vibrance, saturation, and selective color in photo shop to bring out my cat's color and the color of the sky. This cat if the princess of the house. She is very spoiled and snooty but we love her anyway. This little ledge is known as Angel's perch. She loves to sit on this ledge and lounge in the sun.

The Hot Tub

This is a complementary color picture I took of my back yard. I used the cutout filter in photoshop to give it this cartoony look. I enjoy the shadows and how they turned out with the cutout filter.

Sunset over DC

This is a harmonious color picture. It's a sunset in Washington DC. I really like this picture because it's really pretty and it reminds me of the good time I had with my dad on our trip to Washington DC. I took this picture myself. I photoshopped this picture to get rid of a line that went across the top. I also photoshopped this picture to be more vibrant and contrasting.

My Brother's Fairy

I did this fairy for my brother. I new he likes yellow so I did a blond fairy sliding down a sunflower. it's a bit disproportionate but I hope it isn't too bad.

Personal Symbol

This is my personal Symbol. It is a butterfly with faming wings. It signifies the strength women can have and should have. Originally this was a water color on paper. I changed it on photoshop by changing the brightness contrast, all that and added a plastic wrap filter.

Howling wolf

This is a relief print I made out of linoleum. You cut out the linoleum to make the white space, put ink on it, press on some paper and presto, you have a relief print. I think wolves are really cool animals and we had to do something having to do with Glacier National Park so I chose to do a wolf.

Cat in a window

This is a Batik. It's made by making lines with wax and coloring it with dye. The was is washed out in the end. This is inspired by a picture of one of my cats sitting in a window of my house. I made it simple but the design is still generally the same.

Black Bird Mandala

This is a mandala I did, color pencil on poster board. It's of a black bird standing on a cherry tree branch. I think this bird is really pretty and this mandala seems to capture a sense of peace.

Cider my cat

This is a drawing of my cat in graphite. We are very close. She follows me around the house and gets really sad when I'm gone for more than a day. She has a major attitude.

The Ying Yang Fish

This is a clay sculpture with black underglaze and a shinny top coat. I think coy are really cool looking and I've seen the idea of two fish circling together with one black and one white. I decided to use that idea and very one it.
